SSK Public School

SSK Public School was founded by our founding mother, Mrs. Geeta Bhambri. The first foundation stone of SSK Public School was laid on April 13, 1978, the auspicious day of Baisakhi.

Bade Bai Ji, a Nun of Shri Anandpur Sewa Trust, along with seven Kanyas, laid the first stone and fulfilled all the rituals. In 1979, SSK started its operations in full swing up to Class V with 10 staff members and 200 children. The school was extended up to Class X in 1982 and received its affiliation from CBSE.

It was further extended up to Class XII in 1984. The Founder Mother was a determined person who believed that every child should be educated. She went door-to-door, convincing parents and making them realize the value of education.

The starting fee was just Rs. 2 per child. Many of the children who were convinced to pursue education have now reached great positions in their lives.

Vision

Our vision is for each child to develop a curiosity for learning, discover their interests, and grow in their love of learning. We also aim to build strong families through parental support, fellowship, and skills training.

Our goal as a school is to equip young people with the skills and mindset to thrive and confidently take on the world. Our mission is to inspire learning within a caring, creative, and international community, pursue excellence, and challenge students to think critically as they prepare for the world beyond.
