Prabuddh India Eduplanet LLP operates The School Admission (theschooladmission.com), an online school discovery and counselling service. This policy explains how we handle personal information, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

1. Information we collect

• About you (parent or guardian): name, phone number, email address and city.
• About your child: class or grade, and your school preferences such as location, board and budget.
• Booking details: the package you chose, session times and payment status.
• Website usage data: basic technical data such as device type, pages visited and cookies, used to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.

2. Information about children

We collect information about a child only from the parent or legal guardian, and only to provide school discovery and counselling. By sharing it, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and consent to its use as described here. We do not track children's behaviour or show advertising aimed at children.

3. Why we use your information

• To book and deliver counselling sessions and send confirmations and reminders.
• To recommend schools that match your preferences.
• To process payments, refunds and support requests.
• To meet legal obligations and to protect against fraud or misuse.
• To improve our website and services.

4. Who we share it with

• Authorised counsellors who deliver your sessions.
• Schools you have shown interest in or asked us to connect you with. We share your details with a school only for that purpose.
• Payment providers that process your transactions.
• Service partners who help us run the service, such as hosting, messaging and email providers. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not intentionally store complete card numbers or UPI PINs.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar tools to remember your session and measure site usage. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as a result.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as needed to deliver the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, and handle disputes. Unless the law requires longer, we delete or anonymise counselling and enquiry records within [24] months after your last interaction with us.

• stop using your information, by withdrawing your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect use that already happened, and it may mean we can no longer provide the service.

10. Privacy requests and complaints

Write to our Grievance Officer, Rajnish Kumar, at school@theschooladmission.com, or call 9599021775. We acknowledge requests within 2 working days and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will also tell you by email or on our website.
